Bloodbath bassist Jonas Renkse was interviewed at Finland’s Tuska festival where he discusses all things Bloodbath, including the bands possible future touring plans. Video below.

Bloodbath is very pleased to announce Ray Miller from Elkhart, Indiana, USA as the winner of our Bloodbath over Bloodstock t-shirt competition. Blakkheim and Mikael hard a real hard time picking the winner out of so many great submissions but finally managed to come to a decision. Blakkheim had the following to say: “The reason why we picked this design to be the winner is simply because it looks like it was dragged out of a closet that hasnt been opened since 1990! It pays tribute to rest in festering slime after the bloodbath over bloodstock!!!!”

Ray has won two weekend tickets for the festival, a meet n greet with the band for himself and four of his friends and will get five of the shirts that feature his design.

This exclusive Bloodstock festival t-shirt will be sold at the official festival merch stand and any leftovers will be sold through on the band´s official UK merch webstore.

Bloodbath plays the festival´s Ronnie James Dio (main) stage on Sunday August 15th.

The Bloodbath at Bloodstock t-shirt competition has now officially ended. We´ve received many awesome entries and the band will have a real hard time picking the winning design. The winner will be announced here on Monday July 26th. The band would like to thank everyone who submitted one or more designs for their hard work and (often gruesome) creativity.

Also we wanna say cheers to our german fans rocking hard with us this weekend. This was the 4th Bloodbath gig ever and the 1st show since two years, so our performance was a little rough and dirty, but helluva fun! Next up is Hellfest!

So, the time has come to announce what will be the fifth and final show for 2010 – Finland’s Tuska open air metal festival! Bloodbath is set to appear at the Inferno stage III at 7.45 pm on July 3rd. We look forward to each and everyone of these five festivals and we hope, no matter where you live, that you’ll have the chance to come out and bang your head with us on either, some or all of them. Get ready for the summer bloodbath!

Our fourth show has been confirmed with a bloodbath over Bloodstock! What could be a better way to celebrate this mighty festival’s 10th year anniversary! It will be our first time on UK soil and it will be happening in August on Sunday the 15th, so get ready…. and prepare for the announcement of the fifth and last show this year.

After the quickly sold out Picture-LP of ‘Breeding Death’ Animate Records from Germany will release this album again as a high quality matt Gatefold-12″-MLP with black innersleeve on 180 g vinyl. The LP contains two bonus tracks and will be limited to 999 copies (first 200 copies as collectors edition in golden wax). On side B there’s an etched picture wich is laser-manufactured and simply looks killer… The release date is set to January 8th, 2010 and can be pre-ordered now!

The third out of total five festivals for 2010 has now been confirmed. Bloodbath will play in the darkness of the Marquee stage around 7.30 pm on sunday, June 27th at Belgium’s finest festival – Graspop! Stay tuned for the fourth announcement.

With one down and only four more to go, we can hereby announce Bloodbath confirmed as the co-headliners on friday, May 21st between 7.45pm – 9.00pm at the Rock Hard festival in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Which country do we go to next? Stay tuned for the next festival to be revealed…

The time has come for Bloodbath to make their return to the stage. Unfortunately, as time doesn’t allow the band to embark on a full tour, we’ve lined up a few selected appearances at the premier metal festivals in the summer of 2010. Despite rumors, there have been no changes to the line-up as the band still feature Mike on vocals, Blakkheim  and Sodomizer on guitars, Jonas on bass and of corpze Axe on drums. The first festival that we can confirm to be devoured is Hellfest in France where Bloodbath will be the headliners of the “extreme tent” circa 11.30pm to 00.45am on June 20th.
