The time has come for Bloodbath to make their return to the stage. Unfortunately, as time doesn’t allow the band to embark on a full tour, we’ve lined up a few selected appearances at the premier metal festivals in the summer of 2010. Despite rumors, there have been no changes to the line-up as the band still feature Mike on vocals, Blakkheim and Sodomizer on guitars, Jonas on bass and of corpze Axe on drums. The first festival that we can confirm to be devoured is Hellfest in France where Bloodbath will be the headliners of the “extreme tent” circa 11.30pm to 00.45am on June 20th.
Omerch has opened a US department for the Bloodbath merch, so if you’re from North America this is the place you’d want to order from. If you’re from Europe, the UK department is the place to order from.
Men’s and women’s tank tops have been added. Merch with the older album designs will also be added in the near future as well as badges, stickers and patches. Due to popular demand we have also put back the classic white bloodbath shirt in a limited edition exclusively for the webstore (this shirt will never retail).
Bloodbath is now managed by Northern Music Company, the home to bands such as Opeth, Paradise Lost, Katatonia and more… All concert, merch and business related questions should from now on be directed to our new management which you can reach by clicking the banner below.
In the last update, we directed customers to The Omega order (The End record’s mailorder) as a temporary solution, but now the Bloodbath merchandise has finally found a new permanent home with the Omerch company based in UK.
All upcoming merchandise will be printed and sold exclusively via the new official Bloodbath online store, but some of you will also be happy to know that several designs will also go retail and distributed worldwide. Eventually, there will be a separate European, North American as well as a Nordic store for customers of each territory, but as for now all worldwide orders can be placed by clicking the banner below.
Unblessing The Purity – the last missing piece in Bloodbath’s discography is finally also coming to vinyl. Set for June 29th as a gatefold release on bloodred 10″ vinyl, & limited to 2000 numbered copies, it can be pre-ordered HERE.
The video for Hades Rising has finally been delivered and can be viewed below.

Unfortunately, we’ve to announce that Bloodbath must pass this summer’s festival season. Mike and Axe have both confirmed they’re too occupied with Opeth and can not commit to any live shows with Bloodbath until 2010, the earliest. Recruiting live replacements for Mike and Axe have been considered, but is right now not going to be possible for technical aspects and neither appropriate for obvious reasons. So for now, we simply have to hope for more luck and better timing next year if Bloodbath shall return to the stage. With that said, we would like to thank all promoters who’s shown a great interest in Bloodbath performing at their shows and we’d also like to send our apologies to our fans for not meeting your expectations this time.
