To everyone asking us to make more tribute shirts, we’d love to, but the answer is no, these two shirts were the only ones we planned doing from the start as a tribute to two pioneers of death metal across the pond. Making these satire shirts were not only wicked fun, but also gave everyone a massive doze of nostalgia. We advice you to go get them while stock lasts as they won’t be around forever.
To everyone nagging on us (we understand…) to reveal the new singer, we will not do this until we have audio to go with it, so please be patient.
To everyone asking when tthey can expect the new album to be released, we’ve set aside time in january to record. So album title, cover artwork and release date will all follow once that’s in motion.
Thanks for your support and helping us recycle death metal, once again.

We started off our little satire/tribute project with Death and their ‘Leprosy’ album to represent the Florida/US scene, but no tribute would be complete without having featured Swedish death metal, right? So let’s head over the pond and wrap up this satire/tribute project with one final shirt of the Stockholm/Swedish scene represented by Entombed and their ‘Left Hand Path’ album. If you’re a fan of Bloodbath, a fan of old school death metal, a fan of the HM-2 pedal and can laugh at another nasty ambiguous slogan, this shirt is for you! Enjoy!
“RIGHT HAND WRATH”
Entombed, the “Black Sabbath” of Swedish death metal if you will! Undeniably, they invented THE ultimate guitar sound for this genre together with Sunlight studio mongul Tomas Skogsberg. Their secret was to implement the classical Boss HM-2 pedal in the signal chain, resulting in a barbed-wired tone that would kinda emulate the buzz of a chainsaw! The pedal (R.I.P 1983-1991) was discontinued a long time ago, but the sound, the music and the genre lives on religiously worshipped and utilized amongst yours truly. So this is our twin celebration of both the pedal and one of the most classic old school death metal albums of our our time! Follow the left hand path and blast away with right hand wrath!!!

It should come as no surprise that Chuck Schuldiner’s old band Death has been one Bloodbath’s main influences. As a matter of fact, ‘Pull The Plug’ off the ‘Leprosy’ (1988) album is one of our all-time fave Death songs. Coincidentally, it also happens that one of our fave meals is something better known as “Pulled Pork” (when you think about it, that does sound pretty brutal in its literal context, right?), so we thought, why not twist the two together in the name of one of the seven deadly sins! DONE! This satire shirt is our tribute to Death’s legacy while giving glory to pork! *Gluttony will take control and bring you to your death, No chance of a normal life to live just like the rest, Gluttony will spread with time, your body soon to change, Appearance becomes hideous a sight too much to take.*
With all the rumours that’s been wildfiring the last couple of days people have been questioning the current and future status of Bloodbath, so here’s the deal. Mikael Åkerfeldt has officially left Bloodbath. We know this might come as a surprise to some of you, but the rest of us in Bloodbath have been well aware for a long time already that Mike wanted out again. This was made to be made public sooner or later and if you’re curious to know more about why Mike is leaving and his vibes in general you can read his own words here. Mike, our best buddy and death metal vocal god has been a tremendous force in Bloodbath and we thank him for all the good and fun times on stage and in the studio we shared with this side-project since the formation in 1998.
Now, we’ve already been getting a lot of submissions from Bloodbath fans who are looking to replace Mike and we thank you for the interest and offering your talents, but hereby, we want to confirm that our decision to make another album with a new singer is already being prepared since a while. We we will let you know in due time who the new singer is and also details on our musical/lyrical concept that has also already ben set in stone. Expect the exciting things to happen in 2013.

We know everyone is eager to know what’s going on in the Bloodbath camp and unfortunately we still do not have any exciting news on the situation regarding the next album. Please be patient as time will sort this out eventually and we will return with our most ugly, dark and brutal work to date, but in the meanwhile we thought we’d offer you something almost as exciting. We’ve made two spin-off designs of two of our all-time fave horror movies, The Omen and Damien and they turned out to be the coolest merch we’ve seen in quite a while. Pre-order each or both now for a January 16th shipping.

The Fathomless Mastery was originally released in 2008 and hailed as another masterpiece of brutal, blasphemous Metal, with a definite nod to the masters of the scene, such as Morbid Angel and Entombed flowing throughout the tracks.
This edition of the album includes 4 tracks from the deleted Unblessingthe Purity EP. Recorded in Summer 2007, Unblessing The Purity was a ferocious storm of unadulterated Death Metal fury. All the highly sought after tracks from this sold out pressing are now included on this release.
Another teaser from the brand new “Bloodbath Over Bloodstock” DVD has been released. You all should be familiar with this song! The DVD is released on Monday. Order it directly from the Bloodbath store or get it in your local shop!
