Yes I did read the lyrics. The song is awesome and it is one of my favorites from the new album.
But the video sux... I don't like it at all. And I see no reference between the video and the song.
Also... I don't give a crap, say what you want to me "faggot" "boohoo" stuf... I really couldn't care less.
Bloodbath is my all time favorite band and I can enjoy their divine music without the stupid video.

great composing and sweet riffage, unique sound, unly point of slight hesitation maybe is the solo. the solo is 'just' good, and the rest is so awesome the solo gives the impression of not being on the same level.
still, one amongst the best death metal songs and bands I heard ever.
video is nice, but to me it takes away the power of the song a little. however, I'm not into video's a lot in general, takes away the imagination when listening to the music alone.

this is one of those bans to remember 25 years from now.

BRUTAL

If Akerfeldt had been more animated like he was at the Wacken date, I think it would have been a much better video. I really dig the part at the very beginning though with the dubious T.V. priest and the weird face. It's little things like that that make a cool video. In any case, I find it endearing that these people look like they were much more suited to playing music than to acting like rockstars.

I'm my opinion, this video represents one of the many important things that Bloodbath wants to express. Wich? The hatred towards the "Oh so famed religion". How does it manages to do that? Simply, by transmitting this clear message: "Hello, we are here to interrupt your shitty lying show, and we got something to say: FUCK YOU AND YOUR LIES, BLEED TO YOUR DEATH!".

Being the first video of this great band, what better way to express the power of Bloodbath, by putting that clear message. Or for you "Choreographic-Death-Metal-Fans" what is the meaning of tracks like "Bastard Son Of God", "Iesous" and "Mock the Cross" , come on, The Fathomless Mastery in itself. And what does lyrics like "Cleave the covenant, And powers that grant, Bury the testament, Tumbled by torment" mean to you?

I'm thankful for the fact that Bloodbath even cared to make a video for us to watch. I think many people really liked it too, and i know they share the same opinion.

But what do i find next? Such comments like "Oh my god, there's a bleeding priest, what does it has to do with hades arising? Where is the sulphur descending? And Why Mikael isn't moving at all?"

Don't come to me with that shit. If you wanted some moving action, watch your boyband videos, they sure have people moving, and even better, you can watch all the band in the video. Do a favor to the world and put your mind at ease by not think about the meaning of the video.

But there's more. There are people that wasted 5 minutes of their lives watching it. Fuck off, you wasted more than that by writing your stupid shit. Such comments make people actually thinking they're better at making videos. Well, hope you have the balls to go a Bloodbath gig, and scream to them that the video sucks. I thought the video was great, I enjoyed it and it kept me amused all throughout. It makes me want to listen to the album again!

Finding a proper pose whilst singing, without mic or guitar is _not_ easy :p I'm glad they actually made a video. Never a waste of time imo, I got to hear the song again \o/

I don't believe it's bloodbath's fault either but maybe they should take some acting class. But since the camera is so much at Åkerfeldt, it looks stupid for two reasons, 1. he is missing his guitar, 2. it's too fucking dark! Nice music, bad video
