BLOODSTOCK T-SHIRT COMPETITION WINNER

Bloodbath is very pleased to announce Ray Miller from Elkhart, Indiana, USA as the winner of our Bloodbath over Bloodstock t-shirt competition. Blakkheim and Mikael hard a real hard time picking the winner out of so many great submissions but finally managed to come to a decision. Blakkheim had the following to say: “The reason why we picked this design to be the winner is simply because it looks like it was dragged out of a closet that hasnt been opened since 1990! It pays tribute to rest in festering slime after the bloodbath over bloodstock!!!!”

A random selection of the other design submissions will be posted on the band´s facebook page soon.

Ray has won two weekend tickets for the festival, a meet n greet with the band for himself and four of his friends and will get five of the shirts that feature his design.

This exclusive Bloodstock festival t-shirt will be sold at the official festival merch stand and any leftovers will be sold through on the band´s official UK merch webstore.

Bloodbath plays the festival´s Ronnie James Dio (main) stage on Sunday August 15th.

Saw these at Bloodstock and they did look much better than on screen, had a really cool 'Bloodbath Over Bloodstock' back print as well. Unfortunately I couldn't get one due to money constraints. However, Bloodbath's set at Bloodstock was also professionally filmed, maybe another DVD in the works?

You know, most people on the internet are here because their lives have failed. They have nothing except their opinions, and they give them freely, and hope that we'll consider those opinions valid because hey, they came form a person and all people are equal.

Not all people are equal. In fact, most of them are glorified chimpanzees with car keys, bank accounts and Important Opinions that no one with a brain cares about.

That tshirt is death metal incarnate: simple, gnarled, violent and moribund. That's why Bloodstock picked it instead of some fru-fru emo metrosexual doofus "artistic" and "creative" design involving a skull made out of fruit and microchips.

Man, that's a really cool t-shirt, simple but effective. Congratulations to the designer. I want one, hope there are any leftovers. Besides, if the people doesn't like it, then don't buy it. Reserve your shitty opinion of wanna-be designer, fuck "a MAXIMUM of 5 minutes", that sounds like somebody its mad because he didn't won.
Plus Ray Miller and his friends get to met Bloodbath, lucky bastards...

It's hard to read on such a small image, but it does say "BLOODSTOCK MMX" on the tombstone.

Blakkheim and Mikael picked this design, so if you don't like it... whatever. It's what the band wanted, and that's really all that counts here.

I submitted quite a few designs for the contest, and I'm very honored to have won with this, the simplest of them.
Perhaps some of you don't remember Bloodbath's old motto: Brutality comes through simplicity!

I'm not a contestant, I did not submit any art... But I'm a huge Bloodbath fan... However... I'm NOT a fan of that shirt... That took somebody a MAXIMUM of 5 minutes to put together in photoshop... It's dull, utterly fucking boring. Seriously. There must've been SOMEBODY out there who submitted something with alot more CREATIVITY and SOUL and put their fucking HEART into it, yet you choose that piece of utter crap? Ok... Thats fair.
