shit.....(all) the bloodbath albums rip some fuckin flesh. I think Mikael -and- Peter have some of the sickest vo-kills in the business hands down....I just wish I could belt out as guttural as either on 'em. nevertheless I fucking love that Mike is back in the Bloodbath fold...we gotta look out for that new "DVD" see Mike and the guys in action -live-....cant wait till their new album is in my hands....whats the new Opeth CD sound like?? better than Ghost Reveries???

New album sounds cool. it sounds a lot more technical.

No one touches Mikael, No one. His creative form of lyricism alone sets him apart from Peter and anyone in the genre. That being said, Mikael has a growl of a savage beast and Bloodbath accentuates everything he has to offer. Hail Unblessing!!!! Everyone be ready for new Opeth as well! It will reign supreme!

Well, Mikael's growling is for sure heavy as hell, but also quite low in terms of level and power. Tägtren also goes heavy as hell when he wants to, but pushes a whole lot more air when he growls and gets a really more brutal and powerful feeling. They're both great vocalists, both very technical guys doing their jobs, but when it comes to power and brutality, Peter Tägtren really blows away whatever is in front of him.

Anyway, it's all a matter of taste.

And, of course, this new stuff with Mikael back looks awesome!

Well I for one think everything the 'Bath have released is brutal in it's own way and NMF is stunning... The new songs sound fucking amazing!

bloodbath did die after RTC, that CD was fucking potentious. It was a sacrilige to change their vocals, and well... basically everything. idk wtf they were thinking, the pterodactyl screams of NMF were amazing but the heavy growl in RTC was wayy better, even the poetic style

I own all the albums...with my fav. being Resurrection through Carnage.I really love everything about it.The guitar tone,the mix,the vocals.To me Bloodbath died after that CD....

I'm wondering if glug hasn't heard the past couple of albums? Bloodbath has evolved enormously since Breeding Death.. it's not just a purely old school tribute band anymore. Bands aren't static entities..
